MEET THE ORPHEUM THEATRE STAFF

Erin 1 Edited.jpg
Erin Glasnovich
Executive Director

Erin Glasnovich is a Galesburg native and joined The Orpheum Theatre staff in February of 2011, but has been involved in theatre for the majority of her life.  She began her theatre career at the age of seven and soon after became a student of The Performing Arts Academy, performing annually in their musicals and with other local organizations such as Galesburg Community Theatre and Prairie Players.  She studied Musical Theatre at WIU in Macomb, and in 2010 moved back to Galesburg with her family. Professionally, Erin sits on the Board of Directors for the Carl Sandburg Historic Site Association, chairing the Songbag Concert Series Committee; she is a community member on CUSD#205 Fine Arts Committee. You can also hear Erin weekly on Thursdays on FM95 Mornings with Eric Hanson.

Erin still enjoys performing, and she revisits The Orpheum stage annually as Lana Sherwood in Christmas on the Air: A Live Radio Play. “It’s a crazy thing to come full circle in life, and here I am, back at the place where the spotlight first shone on me,” Erin notes. “My love for the theatre began at The Orpheum and I continue cultivating it here by leading the best team any old theatre could ask for. It is an honor to have a hand in preserving The Orpheum, and working to offer varietal programming that is affordable and accessible to all.”
